Chapter 14. Defending His Own

My eyes flashed open and I gasped for air, my chest heaving impulsively like I was in a daze . I tried to sit upright on the bed as lying on my back felt tiring, but my strength failed me. It was like a huge rock had been placed on my chest, restricting me from moving.
Since I couldn't sit up, I took a cursory glance around my room and the first person I saw was Calypso who stared at me intently, relief shining on his face. I snorted, wondering what the pack's royal seer who also doubled as the healer was doing in my room.
Then everything came pouring into my memory; how I deflowered Hermione and sadly enjoyed the taste of her even though she was supposed to disgust me. How I called her 'mine' and didn't pull out of her immediately I released.
I also remembered how I collapsed to the ground with my body turning hot and feverish and whitish substances dripping from my lips.
