I just can't believe what Victor is doing! It's a betrayal, he may be angry with me, but he shouldn't be so dependent on Ghost! Sending him to stay in our room is heresy!

I took several deep breaths, controlling my aura, and the lights returned to normal, but Victor wasn't the least bit sorry for what he'd done.

"I can't just forgive you, Soren... The amount of pain you're causing everyone is staggering! Out of selfishness, Ayla is in a state where we need to ask Ghost for help! This is your fault!" Victor spoke angrily, although his aura was restrained, his voice was cold and cutting.

I took a step back, hurt by this statement.

"I know! I'm doing what I can to fix the situation!" I rebutted without hiding my pain.

"Then stop complaining! Ghost is going to have to stick around! Are you bipolar, by any chance? One minute you accept the Lycan's presence and the next you're dying of jealousy! Make up your mind!" Victor crossed his arms.
