"Dale, I can't...what if he came here, there's Mable ...I can't put her in harm's way..." her voice was strained, she felt so comfortable in my arms, I didn't want to let her go.

"I'll hire private security on the surrounding premises, I will get the best and I think it's best if she stays, so he will get tempted to show his face. Then the agency will deal with him accordingly. You said it yourself this has to be resolved quickly, and the police had not made any improvement." I told him firmly, Aiden was a reasonable guy. He didn't oppose my idea instantly, but he didn't agree to it either, and he was definitely giving it a second thought.
