A month after Kayleigh was admitted to the hospital I told Tyler that I wanted to see her again.

"Remember the last time you were there?" Tyler was being straight protective of me and didn't like where our conversation was going.

"I do, but she was my best friend for years and she did somehow help me cope with the aftereffect from my abusive brother. I just need to see her, even if it might be my last time. I need to close that chapter of my life,"
