Chapter 42. The Wedding
I was a nervous wreck, I still couldn't grasp the feeling that she will be my wife in less than an hour. I shouldn't have taken Larry's invitation for a late hour drink with him saying that it's my last night as a bachelor and that we should at least drink to that.
Knowing Larry, he was having another fight with Gemma, I couldn't say no to him. But come morning I was still a bit light-headed and mom had been asking me if I was having second thoughts.
"What? no! don't be ridiculous mom, of course, I'm not, I love her."
"Okay, but you need to sober up, she doesn't need you hangover on her wedding day," she said as she patted my tux and make sure I look presentable.
"Oh, Tyler...I'm so proud of you. I love you, but I'm going to hunt you down if you ever hurt her. Remember that, okay?"
I smiled at her and gave her my warmest hug. "I won't mom, I promised."
"Good, now be a good boy and wait for her at the altar while I go
