Chapter 27. Being Taken

I was having the best moments, I had been dating Nate for three months at that time. We had been getting to know each other better. And I had moved back to my dad's, and he welcomes me happily. He had also been getting along very well with Nate. I couldn't be any more content with my life.

Dad had been recovering tremendously well. His doctor said that he was almost back to normal, but then again he warned us that the second heart attack would usually be worst. So, there was no guarantee. We just had to keep Dad healthy, mainly with his diet, exercise, and cutting down on his working hours.

He had no problem with diet and exercise, but he had been a workaholic since mom passed away. I would have to keep him away from his home office when it was nearing his bedtime. But aside from that, me and dad were good.

In the last couple of months, I had also grown very close to Alice. And with my sugar a******, it was just about time that I honed my skill in making my sweets.
