Chapter 29. Jasper & Benjamin

"So you're saying I should keep the apartment?"

"I'd say if he hadn't asked for it you might as well keep it. I'd rent it out if I were you, I'd rather not pay for the maintenance."

It was way past our working hours and Jasper, my new and soon-to-be ex-co-worker was giving me pointers with my Fabrizio issue.

At first, I was reluctant on giving him back his black card and his apartment, just because I didn't want to see his face, and giving the card and the keys via his assistant would just make my reputation worse. Though I did not work there anymore, I know that in a business world we might bump into each other in the future.

"So you and your boss huh?"

"Jasper, don't." I finished the wine and put it down on the coffee table.

"What? I'm just asking." He smirked and put his hand on my thigh.

Jasper and I have been flirting back and forth in the office, he's with the paralegal team and he's mostly doing meaningless work but at a h
