Chapter 32. Benjamin
I've been drowning myself with work, then hit the punching bag soon as got home. But the moment I saw him in the pantry the thoughts came flashing back at me.
"Hey,"
"Benjamin,"
"What's with the knuckles?"
"Nothing, been working out."
"Yeah?"
I can't believe I was feeling things for the guy, and I stir my coffee quickly and exited the pantry telling him a lame excuse about preparing myself for a meeting.
This was true, I have a meeting with Kamaria for one of the clients' terms of conduct clauses.
And I could see his smirk when I was in front of Kamaria's office hours later.
"What are you doing here?"
"Well, hello again... I'm filling in for Peyton," he shrugged and stand up to open the door for me.
"Kamaria is taking me off from the listing and giving me a desk job, my last client is a bit loony."
