Chapter 23. The Elders

I woke up just before she did, I was carefully watching her sleep trying not to wake her up. She looks so beautiful with the morning sunlight reflected on her chocolate skin. Her freckles were almost invisible indoors, making her face look more innocent and peaceful.

I decided to let her rest, God knows I've exhausted her too many times last night. Damn morning stiffness.

Feeling the bulge between my legs I decided to have a cold shower first, then coffee. I finally headed to the kitchen and make both of us coffee.

I made hers just to her liking and bring it to the bedroom for her to enjoy. Living with her for almost a week had me accustomed to her routine. And having coffee in bed is one of them.

I couldn't believe that it had only been a week. It felt like I'd known her for months already.
