Chapter 30. Talking It Out

It was late in the afternoon when I reach her place. I went to hers, after taking a quick shower, and changed into a pair of jeans, a casual denim shirt, and my favorite sneakers.

"Hey," I kissed and pulled her in for a hug. Damn...missed her so fucking much.

"Hmm...you smell nice,"

"I took a quick shower at mine,"

"So, how's the trip?"

"Boring, lots of technical terms, I'll need Clara's input. I'm sure she wants this, but honestly, I don't know if I want it."

"Yeah, why so? it's a big opportunity for you." Ella looked beautiful in her simple summer dress.

She was in the kitchen while I watched as she moves, casually making coffee for both of us. I still couldn't believe the stage she was in when she was in the hospital.

Ella was the main factor in why I was reluctant in signing the movie deal. Deep down I know I love her, so much that I'd give anything for her and keep her safe from harm.
