Chapter 64
That was one thing I was definitely certain of. Marcus had his head down and did not raise his head to meet mine. The servants were all looking up at me, my mind was thrown into confusion and shame and quickened my steps. I got to my room and shut the door behind me. I took off the stupid dress and threw it across the room. I took out one of my big t-shirts and put it on before throwing myself on my bed to cry myself through the day.
I had been in my room for several hours crying my soul out. My eyes were sore and red and my voice was gone. A knock came on my door and I turned to face it. Who the hell was that?
The knock came again and this time it came on harder. “Leave me alone!!” I yelled.
“Open the door Ma’am. I just want to talk.” He said. I looked at the time. It was already three minutes past five in the evening and I had not had anything all day.
