The city sprawled out below, appearing miniature from the distant vantage point. A lively pulse emanated from the urban hub, pulsating as dusk ushered in that fleeting transition between daylight's retreat and the impending nightfall. Distant lights shimmered like distant stars on the horizon. Emerging from the concealment of the bushes, I ventured onto the ledge, a panoramic view surveying the surroundings to ensure solitude.
