John stood at Andrew's side, his fists alternating between clenching and unclenching. I couldn't help but watch it all unfold, a sense of amusement bubbling within me, even though I knew I shouldn't condone this chaos. I allowed a moment to appreciate Xavier's striking features—there was an undeniable allure in his anger, a fierce intensity that made him even more attractive.
Xavier casually swatted Andrew's finger off his chest as if it were merely a bothersome insect.
"Did you hear me, jerk?" Andrew spat, his voice dripping with bravado.
Xavier shrugged nonchalantly. "I heard you; I just don't care."
His jaw tightened, teeth gritted in barely contained frustration. I could feel the tension radiating off him;I silently prayed to the goddess to allow Andrew to provoke him just enough. While I knew that I would surely face the consequences, any moment of joy I could grasp, even if it was fleeting, was worth it. Please, just a taste of satisfaction.
