Chapter 43

Ellen no longer saw Chase in the penthouse. The man appeared to arrive quickly and depart after kissing the remaining ice cream at the corner of Ellen's lips. Whether she liked it or not, Ellen had to stop eating sweets because of the man's behavior. Ellen chose to see what gifts Chase had brought, as previously stated. Ellen discovered a slew of shopping bags in her living room that she had never seen before.

"What the hell is going on?"

Ellen was perplexed by the abundance of gifts. Ellen couldn't decide which of the many shopping bags to open first.

"Madam, today you are very lucky to get this much gift from Mr. Chase."

Alexa was overjoyed to see Chase's interest expressed through these gifts. Ellen, on the other hand, has become perplexed by the man's recent treatment.

"I think something is wrong with that guy's head, Alexa what do you think?."
