Chase felt his hand being tightly gripped by someone, and he had no idea where he was until he finally opened his eyes and adjusted his surroundings, which revealed that he was in his own room in the penthouse. Chase could begin to hear the soft cries of someone he recognized.

"Ellen, why are you crying?"

"Are you awake?"
