Chapter 66
Chase simply cannot deal with worms, so the terrified man seeks any means of survival. Ellen drew closer, her laughter uncontrollable. Chase then reached for the water hose, which is normally used to water plants. The man quickly sprayed Ellen with water from the hose.
"Aaakk! You got me wet, Dominique!" Ellen objected.
"No worries. If you purposefully bring the worm closer to me, I will use this water."
Chase's threat didn't seem to frighten Ellen. The woman approached Chase and attempted to throw the worm into his hand. Chase, of course, avoided it and continued watering Ellen until they were both busy throwing water back and forth. They were busy playing in the water in the garden that afternoon, which was being worked on by a special gardener. They were like two small children who were overjoyed.
