Chapter 82
Ellen awakens to find Chase sleeping with their baby in his arms, upholstered in a yellow teddy bear pattern. Ellen noticed Chase was bare-chested and sighed, afraid Chase would catch a cold from not covering his upper body with a sheet for so long.
Ellen's body was still tired, and she didn't want to scream in order to wake Chase up. It could be Chase, but it could also be their baby, who appears to be calm in his father's arms. Ellen secretly observed how close the father and their beautiful daughter were.
Ellen had never imagined that her life would lead her to a man who could now hold their baby so tightly. Chase didn't resemble the man Ellen had first met. The misunderstanding between them has now melted into a feeling of love that will not be easily destroyed by trivial matters. Ellen is certain that her feelings for Chase will only grow stronger with each passing day. Ellen has nothing to be concerned about because Chase adores her completely.
