Chapter 112
The sight of the long whip caused Scarlet’s pupil to dilate, and a recollection from her childhood immediately popped into her head. She was in the fourth grade when she received a poor score on the science test she had taken.
Vincent’s mother struck her with a belt. It wasn’t just once or twice; in fact, it was more than that. She was unable to wear shorts for two weeks due to the unsightly welts that appeared on the back of her legs.
“You can’t possibly intend to use that against me, can you?” Because she was terrified, she retreated until there was no longer any room for her to get away from him.
“Who is to say? Do you wish to give it a shot? Then allow me to pop the top of that can for you,” he said and then Collin approached the counter while holding the can in his hand and proceeded to approach it. He reached for the knife in an attempt to open it, but Scarlet was quick enough to prevent him from doing so.
