Chapter 134

Jenny expected to see Collin outside her bedroom but she probably heard it wrong. No one was outside the door when she opened it. Then, she took a deep breath as she returned to her bed, and went under the cover.

The following morning, Jenny went to the garden to breathe some fresh air. Earlier, she saw Collin but he was mean to her. Yes, suddenly, he was mean and so cranky. His apathy had become worse and she was at a lot on how to approach him without appearing cheap or needy.

She should have been relieved that Collin didn’t demand it yet but his indifference made her feel unattractive and undesirable. She didn’t aim to win his heart but to attract him physically. However, it wasn’t working.
