Aubrey was perplexed by the man’s behavior and stared daggers at him when he was about to complain about the slap. “Don’t ever think of doing it again, understood?”

“I’m sorry about earlier,” he apologized. “I have to go now,” he said in a hurry.

Aubrey made a face because they were in his room, so it should be her who must leave. “No, you stay here. I am the one leaving,” she replied but he already ran towards the bathroom. She decided to wait for him because she has something else to say to him. Did he leave in a hurry because he wanted to take a quick shower?
