Chapter 51. Evil Scheme

A DAY BEFORE THE PRODUCT LAUNCH

Isabella was at the coffee shop inside the hotel she was staying. She was browsing the internet when her face disfigured from the sourness.

“As if that product would be successful!” she uttered bitterly, with pure disgust in her voice. Her lips squirmed when she read the article about the newest product launch led by Chloe.

She took a sip of her yogurt kiwi drink that added up to her sourness since caffeine isn’t allowed for pregnant women.

A few moments later, an untidy middle-aged woman in her beige trench coat sat down across from her. She sat as if it was her own home and she even put her legs on the couch. Her lazy aura disrupted the whole ambiance of the cafe.

But Isabella was too absorbed in her smartphone so she didn’t even notice her arrival. The woman got irritated and knocked on the table between them, “Yo! Yo! Are you going to give me the scoop or will you just keep scrolling up like an influencer wannabe?”
