Chapter 120

Xavier pulled away, his mouth hovering over hers. Why did he do it? He could not tell; he just knew that he had the urge to do it for a while now.

Jessica’s eyes fluttered open, and she stared at him. She hiccupped and saw the corners of his lips turn up in a smile. She hurriedly stood up, bumping heads with him.

“Ouch,” she cried.

“Let me….” Xavier said after her as she sprinted out of the room, holding her head that had bumped into his.

“Where are you going?” he called after her. When he stepped out, he couldn’t see her in sight. Jessica entered Olivia's room.

“What are you doing here?” the woman asked, sitting straight on her bed.

“I’m here to sleep tonight.” Jessica went to sit beside her on the bed, using her body to nudge her aside.
