Chapter 128

"Aren't you going to stay for breakfast?" Jessica asked as she watched Xavier hurry down. 

True to her word she had taken the week off and now she did not need to rush to the restaurant early and she resumed her duties of breakfast making. 

"Jason showed up in the city all of a sudden for an important deal and I had no idea until this morning. I need to go see him" he explained. 

"Oh okay don't let me keep you waiting then," she told him urging him to go. 

"Don't make dinner for me tonight. I don't think I'll be coming home for a while. I'll need to settle him before I can sleep in peace again" 

Jessica nodded. She knew about Jason coming into town. She has asked Alicia to help her out with that. She planned to get him out of the house. Although he said he had a full schedule that week he was home almost all the time and she needed him out so she could do her work in preparation for the surprise party. 

Alicia had sug
