“Coffee?” she murmured after a long silence between both parties.

Jessica laughed as she freed herself from her friend’s grip.

“Sure, how do you like yours?” she asked as she went to prepare it.

“Jessica, I must say you make great meals,” Jason said as he leaned back in his seat.

Jessica had outdone herself with breakfast, preparing a spread that looked like something straight out of a movie. Jason and Brian devoured the meal so quickly that there was barely anything left on the table.

“I feel so stuffed. Thank you,” Brian said.

“I think I need to take Jessica with me and let her teach my staff how to make such lovely meals.”

Xavier looked up and stared at Jason intently. What did he mean by taking his
