Was he not supposed to call to apologize? His ego must be the size of the entire city because how could he be talking as if he was not the one in the wrong? 

"You said we should lean on each other since we were a couple now but apparently that rule only applies to me" she ranted on when he said nothing. 

"I mean, it was so obvious that you had a foul mood but why did you think you would have to take it out on me? I just wanted to share in whatever was wrong with you but it seems......." 

"I am sorry," he said cutting her off. 

"What?" 

"I am sorry, I mean I should not have passed out my frustration on you when it was obvious that you only wanted to help me out. I was just overwhelmed" he said and she froze. 

Nope, she was not expecting him to apologize so easily the way he just did. 

"What was the matter?" she asked. 

"Am I forgiven?" 

"If you tell me what happened I can decide" <
