“I’m sorry,” Bianca said, lowering her head.

Dave looked at her with deep emotion and gently hugged her. His voice was soft and full of love as he said, “I can’t imagine my life without you.”

“I’m so sorry,” Bianca tried to coax him. She held him tightly, feeling her words weren’t enough to comfort him.

Bianca had thought about the worst-case scenario, but she felt she needed to make her plans immediately.

She knew that if something happened to her, Dave might be sad for a while, but eventually, he could find happiness again.

“Answer it. He’s been trying to reach you,” Dave said, looking at the caller ID.

Bianca quickly picked up the phone and said, “Hello, Leonel.”
