Chapter 403. Break It Open!

Dave had just taken a step when a rough voice called out from behind him.

“Sir,” Franklin said, looking directly at Dave.

“Your grandpa asked for you to join Miss Scott for breakfast. I saw the door open, so I came in.” Franklin’s eyes glanced up and down Dave’s figure. Dave was dressed, and the door was slightly open, showing signs that he had just come back from outside.

“Sir, you weren’t in your suite last night?” Franklin asked.

“Yes,” Dave answered coldly.

“And Miss Scott...” Franklin’s eyes moved towards the bedroom door.

Dave’s eyes turned gloomy as he noticed where Franklin was looking. He frowned slightly in worry. “She’s probably still asleep.”

Franklin sighed. “Sir, you know the family rules. Your grandpa is waiting for us in the dining room. If Miss Scott is late, it could cause problems.”

The Evans family had many rules, one of which was having breakfast at six a.m. There was no room for being late.
