Chapter 538. I Want to See Your Grandpa

Bianca remembered clearly. A long time ago, on his birthday, Dave had proposed to her in a small church. He didn’t have a ring then, so she had wrapped this very necklace around her finger, turning it into a ring.

Time had passed so quickly. In just a blink, they had gone through so much together. Now, it was Dave’s turn to turn the red diamond necklace into a ring. It felt like they were back in that church again.

Dave’s gentle voice brushed against her ear as he asked the same question once more. “Bianc, will you marry me?”

Bianca looked at him and smiled. “Yes, I will.”

A moment later, Dave leaned down and kissed her forehead. That soft kiss said it all.

“I respect your promise to Blake,” he whispered. “We’ll get married when he comes back. And I’ll give you the most beautiful wedding.”

Bianca suddenly felt the urge to cry. Only she and Dave knew how hard their journey had been. She had once thought she might never get the chance to marry him.
