Chapter 54

Sunday continued to drift by and soon Lilian and Damian headed back for breakfast. Lilian had hers in the dinning room while Damian ate upstairs.

As she ate, Sean sat infront of her wit a smile of his face.

"What's got you so amused?" "Nothing. I'm simply admiring you."

Lilian rolled her eyes and took another mouthful of fruity cereal.

"Can I ask something?" he said gently.

Lilian looked at him suspiciously.

"Okay?"

"Did you have a boyfriend?"

Lilian finished up her cereal and looked at Sean in the eyes. His chestnut coloured eyes were warm as usual. She actually didn't like talking about her ex-boyfriend.

"Yeah. I did," she said as she carried her bowl to the sink and got a drink of water.

"Do you mind telling me about him?"

Lilian sighed as she sat back down.
