Chapter 97

Adam headed to the police station to file a complaint about Grace’s disappearance. As he approached the front desk, a police officer greeted him.

“Good evening, sir. How can we assist you today?” one of the police officers asked after recognizing Adam.

Adam replied, “I need to report a missing person. My wife, Gra… I mean Faith, hasn’t come home, and I have no idea where she is.”

“I understand, Mr. Adam. Let me get the necessary details. Can you provide her full name, description, and any other relevant information?”

“Her name is Faith Esposito. She’s about 5’7”, black hair, blue eyes. I’ve checked everywhere, but there’s no sign of her.” His words were fueled by worry and desperation.

“I see. We’ll do our best to help. Can you tell me when you last saw her and if there’s anyone who might have a reason to harm her?”

“I last saw her at home earlier today. As for anyone who might harm her, I can’t think of anyone.” Adam hid the truth that there was
