“Can you explain what exactly happened there, Mrs. De La Cruz?” The officer looked at Grace for a satisfactory answer from her since the last two questions ended up being useless.

“I… When I woke up, there were a few people who wore black suits and looked like professional bodyguards. One of them beat me. I… I don’t know what happened after that… I vaguely heard nothing. But one man commended them. I don’t know who that person was,” Grace gave the information the police wanted but Adam wasn’t satisfied by her answer.

After a few minutes of questions, the cop stood up from his seat. “Thank you for your cooperation, Mrs. De La Cruz. We will find the culprit soon and take some rest” he informed Grace. They turned and faced Adam and shook their hands firmly. “Find him as soon as possible” Adam informed as he nodded in agreement.

After that, the cop left. After the cop washed away from the ward, Adam glanced over at Grace who returned with the same expression.
