"Believe me, you wouldn't even recognize me because I had gone dead pale with shock. I'm still trying to recover from it all," Rose said quietly into her phone while she flipped through a fashion magazine.
The person at the other end of the phone said something that made her chuckle.
"I could have killed her if it wouldn't put me in jail, to be honest."
She then sighed and closed the magazine.
"I'm getting more pressured by the day, honey, and with that bitch gone now, it's even more intense. What are we going to do?"
