Chapter 140

Diane was extremely uncooperative when the officers asked her to come down to the station. It took a lot of convincing before she finally decided to go along with them.

Now at the interrogation room, she kept a straight face and managed to control her breathing as the two detectives, Cain and Tanner stared back at her. They were the detectives who sheriff Ross had asked to conduct the questioning.

"Miss Diane, is there anything personal you have against Jane Lockwood? Or perhaps is there something she did to a close friend of yours?"
