By the time Xavier returned to the office, his secretary informed him that some members of the press had called in to have a word with him.
Xavier informed Rose of the development and assured her that there was nothing to worry about and he would take care of everything.
Afterwards, he went through the names of the reporters, did a little research and then granted audience to the reporter whose news house had the highest media coverage.
“Let her know that if she arrives even a minute after the arranged time, she might as well kiss this interview goodbye,” Xavier said to his secretary who then relayed the news to the reporter.
As expected, the reporter had come earlier, precisely five minutes before the agreed time, and beads of perspiration lined her forehead and also settled above her lip.
With the way she was breathing heavily, it was obvious that she had hurried down to the office as fast as a bolt of lightening.
