I stared at the bars of the cell I was in, still in shock at the events that had happened in the last few hours.

The detective and the other guy didn't even bother to cuff me and just led me to their car after telling me about what had happened to Lana.

Why didn't they cuff me?

Well, they had no reason to.

After I heard that Lana was dead, I went into shock and wasn't even aware of my surroundings any longer.

The men just lead me out of the house and into their car, and here I was in a cell, in jail, in a fucking police station!
