There he was protecting me from Martha's venomous gaze and wayward hands like a knight in shining armor.

I just looked up at him, mesmerized by his handsome yet stern face.

"Stop that rubbish, woman; you're in a police station," Mark said to Marth as she struggled to get to me again.

"How dare you... Thing good for nothing, let go of me." Martha said, struggling with Lana's cousin, Kila, who was holding her back.

I snapped out of my daze before glaring at Martha from behind Mark.

Just a few seconds ago, she was joining that old bitch to drag my hair; now she was holding her back...? It was definitely because of Mark's intervention.
