Rachel's POV

I had to bite my lips tightly to stop myself from sobbing out loud. "I'm so sorry." 

"Are you okay?" Jake asked, pulling away from the hug. 

I was always asked that question at the most terrible time when I was not okay. But I couldn't just tell that to a kid, not after I left him alone in the mall. 

' Not as if I did that on purpose '

I nodded at Jake forcing a smile to my face. " Are you done shopping?" I asked him, wanting nothing more than to leave this place. 

" Yes ". Jake nodded. " If it's because of what I bought that you left, I'll just... "

" No. " I shook my head. 

Though the price ready did scare me, I was already way too scared by everything Olivia had just said. 

"Let's just pay and get going okay, " Grabbing his little hand, I lead him out of the office and back to the counter. 

"I've already paid for everything ". Jake said surprising me. 

" You have? How?
