Chapter 83. Betrayed Again

Rachel's POV

Tears fell from my eyes as I fell to the floor holding my hands close to my chest.

I felt like an invisible hand was squeezing my heart and making it impossible for me to breathe.

How can Ethan do that to me?

Why was it hurting even more than when I caught David with Lana?

Ethan was not linked to me in any way; he was just helping me... But by the looks of it, it doesn't seem like he was trying to help at all; if he was, why was he with another woman, not just any woman... The person I hated the most in my life.

Picturing Ethan with another woman was disgusting and painful, but I never pictured him with Lana.

What about the woman he was in love with? Did he leave me alone just to meet Lana in a bar?

The more I about it, the more difficult I found it to breathe. I tried to press my lips together, trying to stop my sobbing, but it just wasn't working.

"Rachel?" I heard someone call my name unsurely, and I buried m
