Chapter 33
Sienna’s POV
My body still ached. Every muscle felt like it had been stretched and pulled, a constant reminder of Daniel’s raw fury. It had been brutal, primal and confusingly, arousing. But also, it had shaken something loose inside me.
His last words, “We aren’t done,” echoed in my mind, a chilling promise.
I had spent the last few days in a daze, trying to make sense of everything. My heart felt heavy, a knot of confusion and shame. Shame for letting myself be used. Shame for letting Daniel see me so vulnerable, and yet, a tiny spark of defiance still flickered. I was tired of being torn in two, I was tired of being the mess.
I had an art showing today. A small one, just a few new pieces. It felt like walking into a storm, but I had to go, my art was the only thing that felt truly mine right now.
