Chapter 63

"Isabella."

The girl's steps came to an instant halt as Bryan's voice broke through the already quiet hallway. An exasperated sigh escaped Isabella before her body turned and faced Bryan, who was standing right behind her. Ever since coming down the stairs and leaving Maggie behind, Bryan had been trailing behind Isabella like a puppy that had lost its mother. But Bryan's goal was to make sure that the girl was indeed okay and went straight back to her room. The situation was bad, so Bryan was a little worried about Isabella.

But that just made Isabella uncomfortable. "Why are you still following me?"

Bryan shut his mouth for a moment, staring deeply at Isabella's blue bead which now looked dim. Then, the man with the beautiful face said, "There's something I'm curious about. Can I ask you?"

Isabella remained silent, keeping her mouth tightly shut while Bryan continued to look at her curiously.
