Chapter 195
“He hasn’t been around for over a week,” Tolga murmured, stepping closer. “No official sightings, no business meetings, no contact.”
A dark realization settled over Murat. His gaze snapped back to Fakhir, whose face had turned a shade paler.
Slowly, Murat took another step forward, his every move radiating pure menace. “The rat is hiding,” he murmured, his voice dripping with disgust. “Tell him something for me, Durrani.”
Fakhir swallowed hard, but held his ground.
Murat leaned in one last time, whispering, “Tell him that if Ayleen suffers even a scratch, I will burn his entire existence to the ground.”
He straightened, his expression unreadable but his eyes promising carnage.
“This fire your son started?” Murat turned, walking away, his movements slow, deliberate. “I will make sure he will be the one who burns in it.”
With one final glance, Murat stormed out, his men following suit.
