Chapter 31
The waves had a blue light effect, and the stars in the sky were reflecting in the water. Like a child at a festival, she walked into the water and stood where the blue pearls were. The water was cold, and the pearls wrapped around her ankles, though she did not feel anything as it was mainly water.
“You like it?” Murat asked, stepping beside her.
“It’s so beautiful!” she smiled, mesmerized by the sea.
“Just like you,” he commented, and she rolled her eyes.
“Aren’t you extra cheesy tonight?” she said, hiding the revolted vibe of her lips.
He grinned, pecking her hand. “Let’s go, I have something else to show you,” he asserted, holding her hand.
“But I want to stay here,” she insisted, her lips almost forming a pout.
“We will come back later. Now let’s go,” he added, and Selina sighed, letting him drag her to whatever he wanted to show her.
