Berat felt bad seeing his friend like this. The Murat Khan he knew wouldn’t even give a damn about a woman’s feelings.
“Then chin up and do normal things for her. Like say sorry, buy her a gift, get her favorite lunch!” Berat advised, crossing his arms over his chest and pouting, probably thinking of ideas he used to impress his girlfriends.
A glimmer of hope twinkled in Murat’s eyes as he hurriedly buttoned his coat and grabbed his things from the table.
Berat gawked at the sudden change in him. “Man, where are you going?” he asked from behind.
“To act on your advice. Now be a good girl and check the files on my table! You will, right?” Murat questioned, narrowing his eyes, grabbing the handle of the door, and halting in his steps.
Berat’s expression suddenly turned grumpy again. “I don’t know what makes me fall for you every time,” he dramatically snapped before grabbing the files.
