The evening was in full swing, the ballroom abuzz with laughter and clinking glasses. People chatting here and there.

Murat and Selina moved through the crowd, exchanging polite smiles and nods with other guests. It was a business gala and like usual Selina took time out for this. Instead of arguing, Murat was just being thankful for her presence.

Everything seemed perfect until one of Murat’s business associates approached them with a grin.

“So, when are you two tying the knot?” he asked jovially, patting Murat on the back.

Murat smiled warmly and glanced at Selina with a loving gaze. “It’ll happen soon,” he replied confidently.

Selina, however, seemed distant. “I’m sorry, I wasn’t paying attention. What did you say?” she asked, causing a few people nearby to chuckle awkwardly.
