Chapter 88. What’s on Fire?

Ail’s head was still reeling from the impact of the explosion. The whole warehouse was on fire. He managed to drag himself to his feet. His gaze was drawn to Kia, lying dead. Part of her body was engulfed with flames.

Ail didn’t have a second thought to check her pulse. He needed to save himself from the flame. His work isn’t successful. All hope is lost. He dragged his sole feet to the exit just before the fire could get to the exit.

“Any sign of Ail?” Queen Alicia inquired.

She’s in constant communication with Jimmy and his team.

“Not yet but we are closing in on him,” Jimmy spoke from the other end.

“Good,” she said. “You should know mission Xilo was a success, and your kind are safe and being looked out for now as we speak.”

Jimmy’s face flushed with joy. “Oh my God!” This is the best day of his life. “This is indeed a good news.”
