“Come on love,” Jimmy said, drawing closer to Becky. When he tried to put his hand on her shoulder, she moved away, drawing back. “There’s nothing going on between Alicia and I. You have to believe me.”

Her face was distorted with sadness. She did see something. After all, she’s a girl and could tell when a fellow gender has a crush on his man. “I feel you are hiding something from me.” She furrows her brows. “What really happened between you, too, when I was not around?”
