Christian's POV

 If people knew the intention of my asking for the prize, they would be dumbfounded. The reason is that I didn't want to pay for any costly service but I have the money.

Is it something like you that should be saying this?

Her gaze interprets as this. I swallow the lump in my throat. Rising up, I gesture to Evans . "Let's go!"

Morning comes, the time I had set to meet with Ashina. It's 7 AM. I told her I'll be meeting her at my study which is close to my office, the one in my residential chambers. As I walk through the hallway heading towards the study, I assess my documents one last time. I thought of putting the files in a bag so she wouldn't suspect anything at first, but there is nothing to hide, the sooner she knows, the better.

Inside me, I pray that she doesn't reject signing it. How will she sign when she wants to be with you? A voice snaps in my mind, causing me to shriek. I just got the greatest shock of my life. T
