I turned around looking around for help but no one was there. But then, I saw the girl from earlier walking towards me. I turned to her thinking she wanted to help but her steps were slow and she was smirking continuously. I don't understand. What have I done to her?
I think my scream attracted attention when I saw Carolina and other workers rushing towards me. When she saw that people were arriving at the scene, she rushed towards me immediately and held me carefully.
"Oh God, somebody should call for help". She said and tried lifting the board. "No". I screamed in pain and she stopped immediately. I became confused but the pain isn't making me think straight.
I sat down holding my right leg and my lip was quivering in controlling the pain.
"What's it dear? What's going on?" Carolina asked as she came closer accompanied by Christian .
