Conri's POV

Riek didn't look at me all through I talked to her, except the initial. I wonder if she's in love with me, oh this would be the greatest joy in my life.

I can't wait to have her in my home, training and rehearsing. Thank goodness this event came up, it's just the perfect chance to get closer to her and even at the ceremony.

Riek's POV

I haven't replied to Conri's calls and texts most of the time he tried reaching out to me. I would just smirk, at other times laugh and drop the phone. I'll give him a difficult time so he realizes that things have changed, I'm not who I used to be. Fridolf is on my lap, gisting me. He's a great storyteller and I love him for this, from his old school friends to new, his teacher and all he can ever talk of, he tells me all of them.

Fridolf is the pride of my life, my joy in my youth, I brush his hair, trailing my fingers over my face. I kiss him on the forehead, he giggles.
