Chapter 35. Doubts but Still Asks

I woke up the next morning feeling a bit agile; the only thing on my mind was how Kylian and I were going to successfully escape together. I was getting sick and tired of this place already. They had released us from the chains yesterday, but the door was still heavily guarded, making it impossible to even think of escaping.

I glanced over at Kylian and found him sleeping; all his wounds had healed completely thanks to his powers. I still had some bruises on my hands and legs due to how tight the chains were.

A guard opened the door to the cell and served us breakfast. 

“Just bacon and eggs??” I asked; I was so hungry and I could hear my stomach rumbling, so serving just bacon and eggs for breakfast kind of got me pissed off.

“You don’t want to eat? I could take the food
